Remote Access
Updated this week

Remote Access is a feature that allows access to a device's screen from anywhere, as long as it is connected to the internet, either through mobile data or Wi-Fi. Once connected, the administrator can view the device's screen in real time, making it possible to guide the user in the field during a support call or assist with a specific configuration.

Prerequisites:

  • Pulsus Agent 3.8.0+;

  • Android 5.0+.

To perform the remote viewer process, it is necessary to access the web base home screen and navigate to the Devices menu.

Select the device to be remotely viewed and click the Remote Access button in the top right corner of the menu.

Upon clicking the remote access icon on the web interface, a window displaying the device's screen should be shown.

On the device, a remote viewer permission request should be displayed. While the do not show again checkbox is optional for using the feature, it is recommended. When enabled, it prevents the user from having to grant permission multiple times if the session is interrupted. To finalize and grant remote access permission, the user should click Start Now.

Once permission is granted on the device, the screen mirroring should begin on the web console, reproducing the device's screen. This allows you to view the device's screen and guide the user through the process.

Observation: If you attempt access and encounter a black screen, we recommend that you verify if the DISABLE SCREEN CAPTURE option is not enabled within the settings menu. We recommend that tests be performed using mobile data in this scenario as well, as in some cases there may be network blocking. We recommend that you allow the following information on your network

DNS: coturn.pulsus.mobi
