Remote Control
Updated over a month ago

Remote Control offers more than just viewing capabilities, as seen in Remote Access. It enables users to not only visualize the device's screen but also to interact with it remotely, allowing for full control over the device.

Prerequisites:

  • Android 7+

  • Pulsus Agent 3.9.47+

Go to the Devices menu and select the desired ID.

After selecting the ID, click on the Remote Access icon located in the top menu.

After clicking the icon, the device will receive a notification. You should then click on Start Now.

You can also set up remote control without requiring user approval. To enable this feature, go to the menu located in the upper right corner of the Pulsus web console and select Advanced Settings.

Enable the option Allow remote control without user consent.

Hovering over the remote access button will display two options.

  • Default Access: A consent message will be displayed, requiring user approval before accessing the screen.

  • Without Consent: User consent is not required, and the screen will be displayed automatically only if the device's screen is unlocked and the Pulsus agent version is 4.9.26 or later. This feature only works for devices running Android 11 or later.

Attention: For devices running Android 14 or later, this feature is available starting from Pulsus agent version 4.9.38, with resolutions of 1600x720 and 1280x720 supported for Samsung devices.

As soon as the device is connected, you will be able to control it remotely.

Attention:

  • Please note that to use the remote control, you must allow the following information on your network: DNS: coturn.pulsus.mobi Port: 3478

  • Remote Control is enabled from the PRO plan and can be purchased as an Add-on for Security and Management plans. However, the feature to allow remote control without user consent is only available for the PRO plan.
