The Remove Devices functionality allows you to unlink the device from the web, which will also deactivate its license.
For the command to reach the device, it needs to be communicating/synchronizing with the platform.
Access the environment and click on Devices. Then, click on the ID you want to remove.
You will be redirected to the page of this ID and you can proceed with the removal by clicking on the trash icon, which will be on the top right menu.
Please note: We recommend removing the device only when it is connected to the internet. You can verify this connection by sending a message. If the message is delivered, you can proceed with the removal.
When clicking the Remove button, a screen will be displayed for the user authenticated in the system to enter their password.
Upon confirming the deletion:
Android: All files and applications installed by Pulsus are removed, and the system returns to the default Android launcher, deactivating any customization or control applied, provided the data has not been previously erased. Only the Pulsus application will remain installed, like any other app.
Windows: As the Windows operating system does not have the concept of a launcher, removing the device deactivates all policies applied via Pulsus, such as operating hours, USB port blocking, and managed applications. The agent's executable file remains on the computer but becomes inactive and stops collecting any type of information.
With the removal, it will no longer be counted towards billing and can still be consulted in the Devices menu, under the "Open advanced search" option, by selecting "Status" and "Removed".
