Contact List
Updated over 3 weeks ago

Requirements: Pulsus Agent version 4.9.55 (or higher) and Pro plan.

The Contacts List feature allows administrators to upload a list of contacts and automatically distribute them across selected groups.

With this new functionality, you can:

  1. Distribute Contacts to All Users in a Group: Ensure that all group members receive relevant contacts without manual processes.

  2. Ensure Correct Contact Configuration: Make sure all contacts are properly configured and that the information is up-to-date for all users.

  3. Keep Contacts Synced: Distributed contacts cannot be deleted by users, ensuring they are always available and updated after each sync.

A new entry called Contacts has been added to the left-side menu. Here, you can distribute contact lists in CSV or VCF format by group. This feature allows you to upload a contact list and distribute it across different groups.

The CSV file template, available for download, includes multiple fields that can be added to the contact list. However, only Full Name and Phone Number are required. All other fields can be left blank when editing the file.

Note: After following the steps below, an application called Pulsus Contacts will be installed. You may need to grant some permissions, but the contacts will still be available in the default Android contacts app.

  1. From the menu, choose the Contacts option.

  2. Upload the contact file.

  3. Select the group you want the contact list to be distributed to.

When adding a new contact list or removing an existing one, the automatic synchronization on devices can take up to 4 hours.

To synchronize immediately, you can perform a manual synchronization individually on each device. Simply open the Pulsus Contacts app and tap the Synchronize button, as shown in the GIF below:

If the group to which you are sending the contact list has an associated Pulsus Launcher, it will be necessary to allow the Pulsus Contacts package to run in the foreground to access it and perform the manual synchronization on the devices.

Pulsus Contacts package ID:

mobi.pulsus.contacts
