In case of offboarding employees who are guarding a company device, we recommend that the IT Administrator follow the operational procedure below to protect the company's assets:
User Inactivation: Access the Users menu in the web panel, locate the employee, and change their account status to Inactive. If the employee attempts to log in to another device in the field, access will be denied.
Remote Selective Wipe: To ensure that no confidential information, credentials, or client data remains on the device while it is in transit for physical return, issue the Data Wipe command on the respective device directly through the Pulsus administrative panel. Thus, the device in the hands of the offboarded employee will be restored to the device's factory settings.
Return and Reassignment: Once the device is returned to central inventory, IT simply reassigns the device to a new user or group so that it is cleanly integrated back into the corporate operation.
