Installation of the Pulsus Agent is performed exclusively through the executable (.exe) file. To ensure correct installation and functionality, follow the detailed steps below:
Prerequisites:
Before starting the installation, verify that the device meets the following requirements:
Supported Operating Systems:
Windows 10 (Home and Pro editions)
Windows 11 (Home and Pro editions)
Required Permissions:
The user account must have administrator permissions on the device to perform the installation.
Connectivity:
Internet connection to download and synchronize with the Pulsus platform.
Installation Steps
1. Verify the Windows Version
Before starting the installation, confirm the Windows version installed on the device by following the steps described below:
Press the Windows key, then type "System Information" or "About";
A window will be displayed with the Windows version and build information, such as Windows 10/11 Home/Pro;
Confirm that the device is using a compatible version (Windows 10 or Windows 11).
2. Download the Installer
Download the Pulsus Agent installer from the following link:
Please ensure the file has been downloaded correctly before proceeding.
3. Locate and Run the File
Open Windows File Explorer (shortcut: Windows + E).
Navigate to your Downloads folder (or the folder where you saved the file).
Find the file named PulsusAgent.exe.
Double-click the file to open the installer.
4. Service Installation
When you open the installer, the following window will appear:
Install Service: Choose this option to install the Pulsus Agent as a Windows service.
Uninstall Service: Use this option only if you need to remove the Pulsus service.
Make sure you select the Install Service option.
Click the Execute button to start the installation process.
5. Success Confirmation
After clicking Execute, a message will appear confirming that the service has been successfully installed and started:
Click on the "OK" button to finish the process.
6. Device Registration
After the installation, the registration screen will appear. Follow the steps below to register the device:
On the screen displayed, enter the group PIN you wish to enroll.
Click on the button Enroll
7. Registration Confirmation
After clicking Enroll, a message will appear confirming that the device has been successfully registered:
Click the OK button to finalize the process.
After registration, the Pulsus Agent will run in the background. The agent icon will be visible in the system tray on the Windows taskbar.
Finally, access the Pulsus platform via the link: https://app.pulsus.mobi/devices_new and verify if the new device appears in the listing. It will be identified as "Windows" in the management field.
