Applications Tab

In this tab, the applications that must be installed on the device will be listed, regardless of whether they are managed by the Pulsus system—meaning it includes the device's unmanaged apps.

The following information columns are presented:

  • Application: Name of the application along with its package name/identifier.

    Note: Applications displaying the green Android icon are being managed by the Pulsus system. Those displaying in gray are not managed by the Pulsus system and are considered unmanaged apps. Those appearing with the Play Store icon were approved through Android Enterprise.

  • Size: Size in bytes of the application installed on the device.

    Note: Applications approved by the Play Store do not display this information.

  • Version: Version of the application installed on the device.

  • Status: Indicates the current situation of the application on the device.

Application Statuses

For applications sent as APKs, the following information may be presented:

  • Installed: the application is already installed on the device.

  • Update Pending: the application is already installed, but there is a pending update.

  • Installation Pending: the application has not yet been installed on the device.

  • Incompatible with the device: the application is not compatible with the device.

For applications approved by the Play Store, the following status may also appear:

  • Waiting for Play Store installation: the application is waiting for installation via Google Play.

For applications installed directly on the device:

  • Unmanaged: application not managed by the Pulsus system.

Installation Errors

When an installation failure occurs, Pulsus may display the detailed reason for the error.

For applications via Pulsus Store (APK), the following errors may be displayed:

  • Unknown error: the cause of the failure could not be identified.

  • Version too low: the device already has a newer version of the application installed.

  • Insufficient storage: the device does not have enough space to complete the installation.

  • Signature mismatch: the application's signature does not match the version already installed on the device.

  • ABI incompatible: the application is not compatible with the device's CPU architecture.

  • Density incompatible: the application is not compatible with the device's screen density.

  • Android incompatible: the application is not compatible with the device's operating system version.

For applications via Play Store (Enterprise), the following errors may be displayed:

  • Unknown error: the cause of the failure could not be identified.

  • App not found: the application could not be located in the Play Store.

  • Not available in country: the application is not available in the device's region.

  • Device not compatible: the application is not compatible with the device.

  • No licenses left: there are no licenses available for the application's distribution.

  • Permission not granted: the application's required permissions have not yet been approved.

  • Not approved or unavailable: the application has not been approved or is not available for use.

  • App not available: the application is not available for installation.

  • Ownership conflict: the application cannot be installed due to a license or ownership conflict.

  • Terms not accepted: the application's terms of use have not yet been accepted.

  • Insufficient RAM: the device does not have enough memory to install the application.

  • Carrier not compatible: the application is not compatible with the device's mobile carrier.

  • Country or carrier incompatible: the application is not compatible with the regional or carrier settings.

  • Safe level incompatible: the application does not meet the configured content restrictions.

  • Install failed: an error occurred during the installation process.

  • Network error: a connection error occurred during download or installation.

  • Insufficient storage: the device does not have enough space to install the application.

Additional Actions

  • Uninstall: Here it is possible to send a request to the device to uninstall the application. To do this, simply click the trash can icon (in red).
