This feature allows you to automatically disable the use of external storage drives on Windows devices. When activated, it prevents devices such as pen drives, external HDDs, external SSDs, and memory cards from being recognized or used on the equipment.
This setting maintains the use of peripherals like keyboards and mice on USB-A and USB-C inputs, ensuring basic device functionality even with the block active.
Prerequisites
Windows 10 and Windows 11
Agent Version 1.2.11
On the Pulsus Web platform, access the Settings tab in the Windows menu.
Select an existing configuration or create a new one using the "+" button in the top right corner of the screen.
In the General tab, locate the USB file transfer blocking option. Activate or deactivate the feature using the toggle switch as needed.
After changing the setting, click the Save button. Once you save this configuration and apply it to the desired devices, the behavior will be automatically replicated.
